Did you know that food insecurity has been declared an emergency in Mississauga; 1 in 13 of our neighbours rely on Food Banks. HHRA has registered to become part of the Hunger Warriors Program in support of Food Banks Mississauga.
Our 2025 campaign goals includes raising $1000 in donations and organizing volunteer team(s) to help sort food donations at their warehouse location. We invite residents in our community to join our campaign against hunger!
Here are two ways you can help make a difference!
While all donations are highly appreciated, financial donations are particularly important for allowing purchases of fresh produce and other essentials. Just $1 dollar provides food for one nutritious meal. Every contribution counts, and together we can make a real difference in our communities.

and pack food donations for distribution. HHRA can create a team of 12 people per session. The first session is scheduled for March 12th (see below). Additional sessions will be scheduled on future dates depending on the number of volunteers that register.
